Top 5 Things to Do in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Myrtle Beach is a destination hot spot in the United States with over 13 million visitors every year. The city has gone out of its' way to make sure each and every guest has plenty of opportunities for a memorable vacation.

Here are my Top 5 Things to Do in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina:

    1. Shop! I do not think I’ve ever seen as much retail shopping packed into any place like it is in Myrtle Beach. There are at least 3 indoor malls, 3 outdoor malls, and tons of individual stores and strip malls. My favorite place to shop in Myrtle Beach is Broadway at the Beach.

    2. Speaking of Beach, you can’t go to Myrtle Beach and not set foot on their big, beautiful, clean, sandy beaches. TIP: The public beaches are just as nice as the ones in the state park and the public ones are free.

    3. Amusement Parks – Myrtle Beach has at least three amusement parks of varying sizes. Hard Rock Amusement Park is the biggest and newest park. However, if you are more traditional and miss the old Pavilion Amusement Park, you can relive old memories at the new Nostalgia Pavilion Amusement Park at Broadway at the Beach.

    4. Conquer the Dragon at MagicQuest - You'll feel like you've stepped into a video game in this live action adventure.

    5. Myrtle Beach is the mini-golf capital of the world! This fun family activity is brought to a whole new level when 47+ mini golf facilities in a 60 mile radius compete for your business.

So grab your camera and a bit of sun block and enjoy one of the best vacation spots in the country.
